sick leave

the change of weather usually affects me. dry cough, colds and flu always struck me every time the weather changes..

China has four seasons which means i have to suffer four times a year when we were there..

and here i am in Canada, suffering not the same but worst cycle of congestion and pains... :(

'been away from our office since Monday. Thanks God I got a very kind boss who allowed me to stay home 'til I get better.

back to work on Thursday, i supposed?

Well...good grief girl, I thought you had just fallen off the planet or something! I even took you off my side bar...just gave up. I am happy to see you back!!!
And get well... :)

So sorry you are sick, but at least you have some lay-up time to blog.

You must have allergies-all that pollen flying around. It can make people really sick.

I retire next month. I will still be taking photos, just not for the newspaper. That means no deadlines and no name taking to go with photos. Yea! And more time to blog!

You take care, Loida. Love to your family.

It's my wife who has the allergies and suffers at this time of year. I was hearing on the news that this year will be the worst for pollen in decades.

Take care.

Loida, my dear dear old friend!! How wonderful it was to hear from you.

As you can see from the date of that post on my blog, I have not been into blogging much of late. I just lost the energy for it suddenly and so thought i would take a time-out with it. I hope to get back to it soon, as I miss chatting with friends there, but for some reason i am not yet ready for it. Soon though! I feel it coming over me. :-)

Congratulations on your 25th wedding anniversary. In today's world of so many separated and divorced couples, 25 years together is a real milestone!! How wonderful for you both. We are coming up on our 29th in July, and hope to celebrate with a little vacation of some kind next year for our 30th.

I wish that I had known about your anniversary, I would have made you a wonderful custom-made garter to match your dress for the occasion. I would have loved making it extra special for you!! You looked just wonderful in your pretty dress. I would have liked renewing our vows, and in NJ with my family present, but it did not work out for us. too many miles between here and the USA.

sorry to hear about the allergies. I often have troubles too. Happy to hear, though, that you are slowly adjusting to life in Canada. I know from experience how long such an adjustment can take!! take care, and i will try to drop back again soon to see what is new with you and yours. hugs, Debby

Dearest Patty,

Dearest Barry,

Thanks for taking time visiting my blog. It's really nice to see you dropping by.. we're living quite side by side now.. mississauga is just few minutes away from scarborough and yes, pollen might be the cause of this sneezing and cough. i'm fine now but the virus still lingers inside our office.. (blame it to the pollen, not to me though :)

------------------------
My dear Debby,
Thank you so much.. our 25th had been really magical.. thanks for the thought about the garter.. maybe i would order one on our 50th.. oh my.. ;) so sorry that your plan to have your own in NJ did not work out. hope it will happen sometime soon.. but hey, i'm so happy to hear from you.. been missing you!! i'm like mushroom these days, only comes out when the rain had fallen.. yeah that's how it goes to me now.. busy unlike when i was on the other side of the world.. but we're enjoying our stay here in canada now..thanks my friend, you really made my day..
