a request..

few days ago my husband asked me why i'm not blogging anymore..

"i'm always tired since we migrated here..." that was my answer. then he requested me if i can still try to continue to write at least once in a while.

maybe he misses my blogs and misses reading my thoughts.. he is a songwriter and a musical composer. maybe my blog gives him some inspiration...

husbands and wives talked mostly about things that's going on about everyday lives.. bills, budgeting, grocery list, future plans, meals for the day, car issues, work related events and mainly about our kids. and pillow talk in most nights when we still have the strength after the hard days work.. seldom now are those moments when we talked about our inner feelings, contemplations and some things we desire..

our minds nowadays were focused on how to keep up with life. but i guess he's right.. i should start blogging again..

blogging is not bragging. it's a talking cure for me. and readers are my analysts.. the ones who hear and digest whatever bothers me and whatever made me happy.

thanks hubby for bringing me back here..

Lucky..

I guess I can really consider myself lucky..

Why?

Well, what about having an office with a view..?

The view always perks me up especially now that Mississauga is really having a good weather... The sun shining, the flowers blooming.. hmmn, what more can I ask for..?

forgotten?

Nah, it hasn't been missed, actually it has been wonderfully celebrated, gracefully executed and lovingly shared with our love-ones, family members, friends and new-found friends..

It was such a magical day for me and my husband to finally met up in the altar and renew our vows after 25 years of being together as husband and wife..

Thank you Lord and Mama Mary for making our dream come true..

Officiated by Father Mardeo Reyes at the St. Catherine Of Sienna Parish Church, Mississauga, Ontario Canada, on March 21, 2010. Wonderful photo shots were a teamwork of talented husband and wife Raymond and Cristine Santos.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!

finally..

Yeah, finally I'm beginning to get my grip to this new country we now call our home..

I just got back from the gym and shed 198 calories for a 30-min work-out in my favorite thread mill plus another 20 minutes in a row. I used to jog when we were in CHINA and i could reach over 3 miles jogging my trail along the neighborhood. I was not able to do it here when we first arrived. For many reasons such as getting a job, finding a home and now that everything is in place, i guess i gotta start with my old routine.. I am happy now that we are finally settled in the best home we could start with and finally having the jobs we highly hoped to have. God is so good.

biking around

i woke up quite late this morning. got nothing to do.. it's my day off so i decided to bike around bristol road and gone out to see the place. biking from bristol to its major intersection in hurontario gave me a break from it all.. such fun.. canada has offered us such clean and invigorating environment.

hubby has been transferred to a much better post, he's now gonna work from 7am to 3pm everyday which means there are more time seeing each other finally.. two sons shall work in their usual grave shifts and they're happy about it. they don't sleep at night though.

daughter is enrolled but we still has to wait for the principal's call to confirm her class schedule. she only has to take 4 subjects during the first semester and another four later before she graduate.

happy and relaxed.. nice, huh?

A Friend Like You
by Merlyn Sprankling

A friend like you is hard to come by,
you’re so dear as you’re always there for me to say hi!
I thank you, as you made your full heart open,
and I pray that our friendship never be broken.
Two cords, they say, are better than one
you and I, and me and you, and it is done!

thanks deanna

for the uplifting balloons..
it really made my day..

caricatures

I was actually not in the mood for anything yesterday. Although I had accomplished vast amount of my workloads during the first half of the day, i became sleepy when the second half starts.. so what i did was logged on to my blog spot, post a bit of my thoughts then checked the feedjit live to see if there's something from the shenzhen blogter's list that could interest and wake me up..

It took several number of hits from the supposed shenzhen feedjit live blosgters list when i encountered the SandBox posted by blogusvox. I thought all bloggers from shenzhen lists were really from our area but i realized i was reading from someone who is in Saudi Arabia.. I took my time to read this one because of the caricature he embedded in his post 'Buhay Buhangin'.. It fascinates me because it is very true, noting that we used to be in that kind of situation more often than we anticipated..

Since his post has roused me from slumber, i decided to jot him a line.. he responded back and you know what? i'm glad i did.. I suddenly found the substance i needed to start my day right..(o 'yung 'humility' wag lilimutin, huh?) hehehe...

See you again blogusvox..

Another blogs that keeps my day brighter are those from Deanna and Judith..

Have a great day everyone..!
