HAVE I GONE CRAZY..?

maybe you'll see more photos without labels, words or anything from time to time. I just want to let the world see what beauty we'll gonna leave behind.

have we gone crazy?

all the things that we dreamed of are here.., even the positions we'd been longing to have, the lifestyle, the friendship we had established over the years, the incomparable income we're getting noting that the cost of living here is much, much lower than anywhere in the world...

no i'm not insane, nor a photographer.. i just suddenly felt like clicking my camera to see and realize if migrating to another world is worth or not. to compare our beautiful life here and there when time comes up.

here i am again, the same topic about "questions". But really, musings like this is inevitable especially when you're in a situation wherein you only got eight weeks max to figure out how to freight all those stuffs we accumulated over a decade of living in shenzhen. and how to cope up living in another place; dealing with yet another culture and such..

I can see why you wouldn't want to leave such a place. Moving is always hard and a lot of work. Good luck.

Moving is like a fresh beginning stuck in boxes.

Tough questions.... I, too, am moving a family of five to another country soon. But thankfully we have almost 6 more months to do it, not 8 weeks. Yikes! And good luck making your decision!

Hello my REGGIE GIRL,

Please, I love to join with the Victorian homes or churches photo shoots. But I gotta go to Hong Kong side to take the photos of the churches there. There's no church here in China nor Victorian Homes. All are high rises even the lone church in Shekou. But yes, please include me, I would love to show you the Hong Kong Churches and homes..

And my friend, I am supposed to mail some teas for you today, as well as for Patty, Leslie and some other friends but the China Postal Service did not allow it particularly US bound packages with tea sachets. Anyway, I had sent something else. Actually it's just a small mementos of China. Kindly wait and hope you'll like it.

The virtual tea party is on with or without the tea.. hehe..
See you in cyber my friend..

Loida dear, first off, I really like the new look of your blog my friend. VERY nice!! Then there is that idea of you moving once again. Oh my, I know JUST how hard that can be. I moved away from the states so very long ago, and even though it was by my own choice, the painful memory of it still stays with me. I am not sure why you are having to move, but I wish that you did not have to, and could just stay right there where you are happiest. Not all of us can say that we love where we live and that it makes us happy to be there. Take care.

I'll be moving soon, also to a smaller house when my youngest daughter goes to college in the fall. This house is jsut too big for just me. We've been living in this house for 20 years. Lots of memories, lots of junk too! I am not looking forward to moving.

my dear DEBBY:
Actually we had made this migration application to Canada in 2002. Then it suddenly caught us off guard.. Anyway, we believed this is the best move for the sake of our children. We want them to experience living and enjoying various cultures. We really love China and we're happy living here, but you see, the only permanent thing in this world is "change". Nice seeing you my dear..

dear JOANIE:
thanks for sharing my friend. The act of moving really triggers a lot of emotions. hope you find you nest sooner.

Loida, Canada? I think you will like it there. So beautiful! I think your children are blessed to be able to experience so much in their lives. And you are right; the only permanent thing is 'change'!

Have a great day and keep us up-to-date on your move.
